Christmas At Ultradent

So I typed this up back on Dec. 10th and forgot to post it. Oops. I am loosing my mind.

Once again I took the kids out to Bri's work for all of the super cool Christmas festivities. This year they did a Candy Land theme. It turned out so cute. We started out frosting giant sugar cookies with five or six different colors of frosting. Of course the kids needed every color on their cookie. Then we made a paper chain to count down to Christmas, played pin to cherry on the ice cream cone, and then we went to go see Santa and Mrs. Claus. The kids were great, even Isaac. He just sat there trying to figure out what in the world was going on.

Pain, Pills, and Punctures

So normally when you have three kids you expect one of them to be sick at least once a month right. Wrong, lately it has been me who has all the problems. I can't seem to get rid of a pesky headache that I have had since before Thanksgiving. I have tried more pills than I care to mention including the regular OTC stuff all the way up to five or six different migraine meds. I went in to the Doc last week for a shot (which I HATE) but am starting to get use to, and even that didn't work. Finally, Monday night I couldn't take it any more, I asked Bri to take me to the hospital. So at midnight his sweet parents came down to our house to stay with the kids while we drove to LDS. We started with an IV, yes another needle, then the pain meds, then the CT scan and then the most uncomfrotable thing ever a lumbar puncture. That is the nice way to say spinal tap. I have had 3 epidurals and this in no way compairs. The pain was so much worse. OUCH! To make it better, they couldn't get it right the first few times they tried. Bri watched and thought the needle was going to come out my belly. Needless to say, I hope to never experience that again. The funny thing is that after all that it was just a really bad migraine. So we finally came home at 5 A.M. and tried to sleep. Next time my head hurts, I will just find a way to deal with it like a hot bath or an extra large diet coke.

Thanks for Thanksgiving

This year we went to my Aunt Deb's for turkey day. Usually Deb and Len are in New Mexico visiting Len's mom, but this year they decided to stay here. What a treat to have Deb cook for us. No one ever complains when Deb is at the stove, she is great. Even though this year has been a difficult one for her health wise, she is still the glue that keeps our family together. It was the first time in 10 years that my family has been together on Thanksgiving. We were still missing several but I guess it is almost impossible to get everyone together at the same time when some of us have two or three families to visit, some are sick or are just out of the state (We miss you Kev, good luck in your training at Ft. Sill, OK, see ya at Christmas). I just wanted to let my family know how much I love them and how truly THANKFUL I am for them and all that they do for me and everything that they put up with. Here are a few pic of the days' events, mainly eating of course.

Grandma Jacque has the Magic touch!

It was so nice to have Steve and Claudia join in our madness.

Deb and Len are always such wonderful hosts, TONS OF GREAT FOOD!

I'M LOOKING FORWARD TO CHRISTMAS!

Purple People Eater

Ok, I must say even with a purple mouth Isaac is still adorable. He has a case of thrush and it wasn't going away with the Nystatin so we had to resort to the icky Gentian Violet. It stains not only his mouth but everything else including clothing. He was a pretty good sport about it but I feel really bad because it must taste terrible. He would gag every time we had to paint his mouth. Hopefully it is all gone.

Pack's Pumpkin Patch

Since we have been in Farmington we have tried to make a family tradition of taking the kids to the pumpkin patch since it is just down the street. It is fun to watch them run thru the hay maze and the corn maze and we enjoy looking for pumpkin's too. We barely made it this year, since we went on Oct. 30th but better late than never right. Here are a few pics from the day.

Halloween at Ultradent

Every year Brian's company has a Halloween party for the kids. They get to parade through the company and trick-or-treat, get pictures taken and this year they had a yo-yo champ there for entertainment. The kids love it and I think Dad does too. He is pretty proud of his kids so he likes to be able to show them off now and then.
After the kids got a ton of candy there we went home and Brian took them out around the neighborhood to finish filling their bags. I am not looking forward to the dentist appointment tomorrow. I can only imaginge how many cavities they have now, but they did have a wonderful time. Even Isaac seemed to enjoy himself. Probably all of the extra attention.

Time Flies When You're Haven' Fun

So yesterday realized that Isaac is already 4 months old. I feel like every time I blink he grows another inch. I find myself wanting him to stay little for as long as possible since he is the last baby for us. With Abby I was always so anxious for each new milestone she would reach. With Seth I was so busy with both kids, work, and a house that each milestone just came and went by so fast, that before I knew it he was already passed all the major ones. With Isaac I find myself excited, but in a strange way sad that he is growing-up already. I guess the best thing I can to is to preserve all of the memories that I can for future recollection. Thus I take a ton of pictures so bear with me and I hope you will all enjoy them as much as I do.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABE!

I just wanted to write a little note to tell you how much I love you and tell you Happy Birthday! You are so wonderful and do so much for all of us so take it easy, relax, and we love you more than any of us could say. Have a great day!
Leave a post to tell Brian Happy Birthday or a funny memory or anything related to him.

Charlie Bit Me!!!

Ok, this was too good to pass up. My visiting teachers came over the other day and brought there kids. No big deal, the do every month and we just go up in the toy room and let them play while we visit and have a little lesson. Well this month Seth has something he didn't want anyone to get, so he put it in a lunch box and when one of the kids (Charlie) came to see what it was Seth lifted it up over his head. Charlie didn't like that and he pulled on Seth for a bit and after a while of not getting what he wanted he decided to bite Seth on the chest. Immediatly Seth started to scream. I saw most of what happened, but not the bite. I felt so bad, especially since Seth had two heavy shirts on and the bite still left a pretty raw mark on his chest. Now just a side note, Charlie is two years old and doesn't know any better. Seth was very kind hearted and fogave him before they left.
The best part of it all was the Visiting Teaching Message for the month of September is "The Gospel of Jesus Christ Teaches The Eternal Potential of the Children of God." We had just finished talking about motherhood and how rewarding it can be.

Summer Vacation

Yes, I know I am so far behind that this may seem silly but the pictures are so cute of the kids and the beach was beautiful. It was Isaac's first trip and he was pretty good considering he had a horrible diaper rash. We drove from Farmington, UT to Las Vegas and spent one night. Then on the Imperial Beach, CA. We spent seven fun filled days with almost all of Brian's family. There were about 25 of us in one beach house and it was a blast. Our days were spent boogie boarding, skim boarding, playing smash ball, horse shoes, swimming in the pool and building sand castles, (or digging to China) that is what Abby and Seth did since it was during the Olympics. I do have to admit the I spent more time inside than I usually do since I had a one month old baby, but Brian's mom, dad, and sister were very kind to help out so I could go out to the beach with the Seth and Abby and Bri. We had so much fun as usual, and look forward to next year. A big THANK YOU to Brian's parents who are so generous to rent the beach house for all of us to enjoy every year. They are AMAZING in so many ways. Love you guys

Days of 47...

We went down to the South Town Expo Center yesterday to see the floats with the kids. They had a great time looking at all the different creations. Our Stake has a float that will be in the parade on Thursday. Here are some pics of the event.

Ahhhh the magic of the thumb...

Isaac at a very young age has already found the magic that comes from sucking his thumb. We are in trouble!

Rubber Ducky your the one....

Isaacs first bath. Still doesn't quite like being in the water.

Seth getting ready...

Here is how Seth gets himself ready for church. He definitely has style.

He thought he would be cool and tuck his pants into his socks. I could not get him to let me untuck them until we walked into the building. In any case pretty funny to see his true colors come through.

Frieworks on the 4th

Who would have thought that having a baby could be so hectic. Well o.k., I guess I did but this time around has been a bit more than we planned on. Isaac is doing wonderful and I am now doing much better. On the 4th of July I got to take a little trip to the new IMC hospital. My blood pressure didn't go down with the birth of our baby, it decided to go up, a lot. Brian and I watched the fireworks from our hospital window and waited to see if all the medicine would bring my b.p. down and get rid of the terrible headache I had. Abby and Seth got to go with Grandma Dee and Grandpa Gary and do some of their own fireworks. After a few days I was doing better and able to go home, which was good for Abby and Seth (and the Grandparents). Brian had to stay with me and Isaac at the hospital since Isaac was not a patient. Thus we are so grateful for our wonderful parents and all of there support and help. So we are all home now and slowly getting back to our lives. I think that we would be happy to just have a nice boring 24th of July to make-up for the 4th of July.

New Waldo Mobile!!!

We picked up our new car on the 23rd. With the new baby coming we had to upgrade from the Nissan Altima. We decided to go with the Nissan Armada. It is going to be nice going to Ca. this summer in a vehicle where the kids can't even touch each other. Hopefully this will limit the stress of the long drive. That and there is a DVD player in it. Traveling babysitter! Now we have joined the ranks of the gas poor. It hurts, but I think it will be well worth it. We plan to have many great memory's with this one. There will be a very important post coming soon so keep watching. Later today or tomorrow. Enjoy!

I AM DONE!

I am at 37 weeks in my pregnancy and I am Done!! My body is giving out and I am ready to have this baby. My doctor asked me on Monday if I was ready to have this baby. What the heck kind of question is that? Hello, yes I am so ready. Then she said I should wait to see how things went over the week. AHHHH! I go back on Monday and I am praying that things have progressed and maybe we will have a new Waldron baby sooner than later.

Some Humor

With families getting bigger, a bigger vehicle is the answer. But when you think of how much money it will take to fill that bigger vehicle with gas, it is almost nauseating. Well I have found a solution for both problems. The fuel efficient Honda Civic limousine. Yes this beautiful car gets 37 MPG and can seat 15. Trips to California and back will cost you less than $100.00 in fuel. If anyone is interested let me know and I can get you the phone number. Enjoy your day and remember walking is not only good for you and the environment, it is cheaper too!

Life is Boring

I really don't have anything great to blog but I know how nice it is to have new posts to read. Today I did go to the doctor and she told me to slow down my weight gain. Like I don't already know that I'm fat. What the heck. I know she is only looking out for my best interest, but come on. If anyone has any suggestions of "good food", that won't make me sick I am all for it. O'yea and to add to the excitement of the day my car tried to blow-up. Not really, it only smelled and sounded like it. All is well. I just need a new pulley and some belts. It defiantly could have been much worse that is for sure, but we will be getting a new car before something else breaks on this one. Good night all.

Abby's Baptism

I can't believe that my daughter is old enough to get baptized. I feel really old, but most of all extremely proud. Brian was able to baptize her on Saturday March 29, 2008 before he had his surgery. She is so beautiful! It was such an amazing day and we felt so blessed to have our families there to support her. She is so excited for this next step in her life and we know that she is trying hard to make the right choices. Brian was also able to confirm her a member and I have never been so touched by the love he feels for her. She got new scriptures for a baptism gift and I am delighted to see her reading them everyday. I can honestly say the spirit has touched her heart and I hope she will never forget that feeling.

Brian and his Gallbladder

Okay, I'm sorry it has been a few days since we have posted anything new. Life is crazy, as usual, at our house. Brian had to have his Gallbladder out today. We arrived at LDS Hospital at 7:15 AM, despite the terrible traffic due to the snow. We checked in and then waited and waited. I ran down to the Lab so I could do my FUN 3 hour blood glucose test. YUCK! If I never have to drink that stuff again I will be in Heaven. Anyway, they got him in and everything went great. Bri, now has four small holes in his belly. He told the kids that they took off his belly button. They didn't think that was very funny. I thought the best part of the day was when the guy came in to Prep Bri for surgery. His official title is "The Shave Tech". What a crappy job that must be. We told him that Brian would be the easiest shave of the day since he has no chest hair or belly hair. "The shave tech" Then proceeded to tell us how some times he has to throw a blanket on the floor to catch all of the hair he has to shave off of some people. Man, I bet he has some really disgusting stories. Later in the day when we were getting ready to leave the hospital, we decided that he should have shaved Brian's arm where they put the I.V. in. The post-op nurse had one heck of a time getting all the tape off of the I.V. site. So for future reference, if you have to get an I.V. , just call "The shave tech" and ask him to prep your I.V. site.
P.S. Thank you to everyone who helped us out today. Especially D'Onn, Brian's mom for coming to our house at 6:30 AM to help us get our kids off to school and keep Seth all day. You're the Best Dee!!!
